The
metallic Mint Leaf Beetle Chrysolina
herbacea is one of the most beautiful British
leaf beetles (Chrysomelidae). Predominantly
to be found in the southern counties, this insect is an inhabitant of lush
waterside vegetation where both the adults and larvae feed on Mint Mentha
spp.
